Listening to the Old Guys

Too often we shy away from reading theologians and pastors from other centuries because they seem like they’re speaking a different language entirely.  A steady diet of Facebook and Twitter has made us impatient readers who don’t want to spend more than five minutes reading a page out of any book. Last week Tim Challies linked to a website that gives us daily quotations from some of the old greats of Christian history so we can take them in smaller doses.

The site is called The Old Guys.  I hope it will be one you return to often.
